Original Acrylic Painting by Ronda Richley, created on gallery wrapped canvas, measuring 30″x 40″. Edges are painted with the colors from the painting.
The two trees at the top of the stone path have figures in them, however, obscured by the methodology of the palette knife. There is a rocky path staggering up to the trees with beautiful, lush flowering shrubs around. The path seems steep but you must climb it to get to the top. The figures are either welcoming you or guarding what is there that you cannot see.
This painting is a departure from the Artist’s normal color scheme and technique in that there are no fine lines or drawing overworking the painting. inspired by Van Gogh.
